HYVE Ether OS never phones home. We don't track downloads, push auto-updates, or call back. You download what you want, when you want, and your OS verifies it's genuinely from us — entirely offline.
⚠ STUCK ON THE ACTIVATION SCREEN? · 1.0.8
One key, every surface — activation recovery.
While building the HYVE Ether OS Enterprise Edition we found that a valid key could fail to activate a fresh 1.0.8 install: the activation screen couldn't reach the on-device license verifier, so it showed "that key didn't verify" or "the activation service isn't started yet." Your key was always valid — the screen just couldn't talk to the verifier. This one-file, fully-local fix unifies that last surface, so the same key that's valid on the site and store activates the OS. It changes a single HTTP header — it never touches your key, the verifier's signing keys, or your data, and it saves a backup first.
From the activation screen, press Ctrl+Alt+F3 for a text login, sign in, then run:
A shell fix for HYVE Ether OS 2.0 Beta. Right-click Delete now works in the Files app, and deleting an image in Spark moves it to the same recoverable Trash the Files app uses — so it stays deleted instead of reappearing when you reopen Spark. Download, extract, and run ./apply.sh: it verifies the checksum, backs up your current shell, installs the update atomically, and restarts. Applies on-device; nothing phones home. (This is a manual shell patch — a signed one-click Depot update is coming.)
Adds four programs to any existing HYVE Ether OS: Raven (a code editor / IDE with file tree, git and multi-tab editing), Alfred (your always-on personal assistant that learns your routines and runs your organs), Operator (a sovereign browser agent), and Agent Foundry (build and run your own agents) — plus the refreshed HYVE prompt library. Installs in place through the Depot with a one-click launcher: no reinstall, keeps all your data. Everything runs locally; nothing phones home.
Distill a large teacher model into a small model you own — with an attested, honest report card. Sequence- and logit-level knowledge distillation, cross-tokenizer, QLoRA, champion/challenger. Adds the Distillery studio's engine to any HYVE Ether OS (the desktop surface ships in the 1.0.8 update). Runs entirely on your machine; needs an NVIDIA GPU.
HYVE Ether OS's own system-prompt library — a curated set of original HYVE prompts covering every assistant role (chat, coding, research, writing, business and more). Installs in place through the Depot and replaces the prompt set on your machine with HYVE's own. Runs entirely locally; nothing phones home, nothing leaves your machine.
Adds Marge — a business-builder that works like your whole team — plus the HYVE Markets analysis & paper-trading desk to any existing HYVE Ether OS, with a built-in web console. Installs in place through the Depot: no reinstall, keeps all your data. Marge keeps your card, bank and identity in a model-blind vault and asks before anything touches money — you click the final button. Everything runs locally; nothing phones home.
Move your HYVE Ether OS to new hardware without losing anything — its memory, learned behavior, grown models, and identity — packaged into a single encrypted capsule. Your offline license transfers for free; this carries everything the OS has learned.
These run on another operating system to work alongside HYVE Ether OS — you download the installer and run it directly. They are not.hyvepkg packages and do not go through HYVE Depot.

HYVE Bridge
The free companion for HYVE Ether OS. Install it on your everyday PC or phone, pair it once with a code from your HYVE machine, and reach your sovereign OS securely across your own local network — no cloud, no account, nothing leaves your LAN.
Windows: run the installer; SmartScreen may warn about an unrecognized publisher on first run — choose More info → Run anyway.
Android: it's a signed sideload (not from the Play Store), so allow Install unknown apps for your browser when prompted, then open the downloaded .apk. After installing, open HYVE Bridge and enter the pairing code shown in your OS.
Every package is signed with HYVE's offline Ed25519 key. Your OS holds the matching public key and refuses anything that doesn't verify. Check the SHA-256 if you like — but the signature is the real guarantee.
