What does NOT run HYVE.

Buy founding access only if your hardware is supported. If yours falls into one of the categories below, please wait for the corresponding roadmap phase before purchasing.

  • Apple Silicon MacBooks (M1/M2/M3/M4)

ARM64 Apple Silicon support is on the post-launch roadmap (Phase 11). HYVE Ether OS will not boot on Apple Silicon at beta or public launch.

  • Mobile devices (Pixel, Samsung, iPhone)

Mobile support is Phase 12 on the post-launch roadmap. HYVE companion apps will eventually exist but the OS itself does not run on mobile.

  • Pre-2015 hardware

Older CPUs (pre-Skylake / pre-Ryzen) lack the AES-NI and AVX2 extensions HYVE relies on for cryptography and Studios. Will not boot.
